Women in Business Expo 2019

FAQs

Answers to the most common questions for Women in Business Expo Virtual, 14-15 October 2020

Q1) Why has Women in Business Expo gone virtual?

Covid-19 has had an unprecedented impact on the world, in particular the events industry. The health and safety for our visitors, exhibitors, staff and suppliers is a top priority, therefore we have made the decision to host Women in Business Expo virtually in 2020.

Q2) Why am I paying for my ticket?

Our 2019 visitor feedback results showed that delegates wanted to have access to content after the event. Many requested mentors and VIP ticket options. We listened and are offering affordable access to content from the two-day live event: all seminars will be available to view for 30 days after the event! Our VIP ticket option includes all the features of the general admission ticket, PLUS a 30-minute free one-on-one coaching session with an accredited business/personal coach.

Q3) What can I expect from the virtual event experience?

Hub Exhibitions has invested in a market leading virtual event platform Meetyoo which is the closest virtual experience to a real-life exhibition. You can view a demo here. All attendees will be emailed an ‘Attendee guide’ prior to the event with details about internet connection and other specific information. Login details will be emailed to you one week prior to the event for you to access the platform.

Q4) How do I arrange 1-2-1 meetings with companies?

During the two days all companies will have personnel available on their exhibition stands for you to interact with one-one-one via live chat (text) or video call. Simply visit their stand and request a video call or send a message.

Q5) How do I participate in roundtables?

If you have expressed your interest for a roundtable on the registration form you will be added to the pool of possible participants to be selected. We will contact you requesting further details to ensure you meet the criteria given by the exhibitor/company e.g. an up-to-date CV. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q6) How will I know which exhibitors/companies are recruiting and which are offering their services?

Check the exhibitor listing to filter companies by three categories.

Women in Tech are primarily companies which are recruiting. A small amount of non-tech companies are also recruiting.

Women in Business are companies which are offering their products/services.

Women in Franchise are companies with franchising opportunities available.

Q7) What internet connection will I need?

LAN or stable WLAN Connection, all up to date browsers will work for text chats, however video call function is only available with the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox so we recommend to use these two browsers to get the most out of the two-days.

Q8) Where will my data be shared?

Your personal data will be shared with companies that you interact with at the event via their exhibition stand, by attending their seminar, participating in a roundtable, requesting 1-2-1 meetings, or by networking in the lounge.

Q9) Will Women in Business Expo be virtual in ?

The preferred option for will be one in person event with a virtual element. However, we will be led by government guidelines. Our intention is to revert to London Excel.
